Jazzpianist, Composer, Keyboarder, Music Teacher
Born in Zurich, Switzerland 1955, I graduated with degrees in chemistry (1980) and music (1987), specializing in Jazz piano.
My most important piano teachers have been: Art Lande (USA), Paul Grabowsky (Australia) and Uli Scherer (AU).
In addition to my focus on western music, I am studying Indian vocal music and harmonium since 1993.

Besides playing gigs, I also teach Jazz piano and harmony at the Conservatory of Zurich (MKZ), as well as composing for films and multimedia presentations. One of those projects has been composing and producing music vor the e-Richbook "The Identity Upgrade", former known as "The iT Principle". A modern myth about human identity.
At the moment I am producing and arranging songs with the indian singer/composer Bijayashree Samal for our Group NANDIGHOSHA www.nandighosha.com and as well with my jazz group KAMALA and my Instrumental Bhajan Project.
Received an award (January 2019) from the "Department of International Affairs India" for my production/performing of the music video "Vaishnav Janato in the Swiss Alps", based on a famous 15th century Gujarati song known by Mahatma Gandhi.
I also spend time composing and producing music for the NGO "embracingtheworld.com", a not-for-profit international collective of charities founded by renowned spiritual and humanitarian leader, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma). www.embracingtheworld.org
